Xiaomi showed its first car. The Chinese are challenging Tesla!
Xiaomi is planning to release its first electric car. These are not plans for some distant future, they are becoming a reality now. For example, the first images of the upcoming Xiaomi electric car were recently leaked – and we see an electric sedan in front of us, with an interesting aerodynamic streamlined body and almond-shaped headlights.
Ahead you can see a plate with the designation Xiaomi MS11 – supposedly this is the code name of the model. But various sources claim that the Xiaomi electric car will enter the market with the trade name Modena. Therefore, the exact name will be known only after the official announcement.
As well as the exact specifications. So far, there is only general information: two types of batteries are expected (from BYD and CATL), an autonomous control system based on modern lidars, as well as an electric motor of our own design. However, all this will have to wait – the debut of the Xiaomi electric car will take place in early 2024.
