WhatsApp to stop working on Huawei, Iphone and Others in 2023
WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps. Over the years, the service has penetrated our lives so much that its users often cannot choose other alternatives, even if they want to.
Recently, the WhatsApp development team announced a number of changes that owners of older smartphones will not like. Starting January 1, 2023, the chat app will stop working on more than 49 smart devices.
Of course, among the phones that will lose access to WhatsApp, we will not find the latest models. The list only includes older devices running Android 4.2 and iOS 12.1 . This is a common practice for many developers who do not benefit from optimizing applications for such “ancient” OS versions. They make it difficult to achieve stable operation, and also worsen the security of users.
