Users were advised to Get Rid of Internet Explorer from their Computer (See Reasons)
Microsoft has driven the final nail into the coffin of Internet Explorer. The company announced the termination of browser support back in June, but then this meant the end of the release of updates. Now everything is different, soon Microsoft will remove IE from your computer.
A warning appeared on the official Windows blog that a new update for the Edge browser will be released on February 14, 2023, which will remove Internet Explorer from Windows 10. All the files involved by the browser will go under the knife, so users are strongly advised to “fix” related IE shortcuts manually so that the software continues to work normally.
Many organizations are still building their businesses on Internet Explorer, and Microsoft is warning that they should move to Edge within the next month. Otherwise, there is a risk that all their activities will collapse along with the removal of IE. A rather radical decision, especially against the background of the fact that earlier the software maker planned to remove only the shortcut to launch the browser from the system.
