Under what conditions should children learn?

Number of people in groups and classes
Kindergarten . How many children can go to a kindergarten group depends on the size of the group. If children without health conditions go to the group, for each child 3-7 years old they allocate from 2 sq.m. For example, in a typical kindergarten project, there are two groups: 51 and 56 sq.m. The first can enroll 25 people, the second – 28 people.
The group where there are children with disabilities will have fewer pupils. They have separate rules. For example, in a group there may be 5 people with mental retardation, and there will be no more than 17 children in total.
School . At school, there should be 3.5 sq.m. for each student in the class. For example, in a typical project of a school for 1.5 thousand people, the area of an office for an elementary school is 85.93 sq.m. There will be 24 students in this class.
Daily regime
Kindergarten . Children come to kindergarten at 7-8 in the morning. At 8:30-8:45 they have breakfast. Children usually eat 4-5 times a day – every 3-4 hours.
Quiet time in kindergarten is required. In children under 3 years old, sleep lasts 3 hours, from 3 to 7 years old – 2-2.5 hours.

Preschoolers are advised to walk 3-4 hours a day. It is better to break this time into two times: in the morning and in the evening. If the street is below -15 ° C, and the wind is stronger than 7 m / s, they walk less.
School . Classes cannot start before 8:00. Zero lessons and training in three shifts is prohibited.
“I think this is due to the fact that at such late hours, children are no longer able to absorb information well,” says Victoria Alipova, pediatrician at the Fantasy Children’s Clinic. They are tired and want to sleep. The evening hours are best left for a quiet pastime at home with the family and getting ready for bed.
Lessons should end at 19:00, later – only circles and studios. Any classes for children under 10 years old must end before 20:00, for children from 10 to 18 years old – before 21:00.

“Psychologists say that the concentration of attention of an average child noticeably decreases after 35-40 minutes of a lesson in the form in which it takes place in a public school,” comments GMS Clinic pediatrician Emilia Gavrilova . But these are very average figures. Remember yourself at school: in some lessons you would have studied for an hour and a half with interest, but in some you counted every minute.
