Oukitel has released a rugged smartphone with the loudest speaker in the world
There is a new record holder in the world of Android. The Chinese brand Oukitel has regained its first place among the loudest smartphones with the new model WP22. She received a giant 36 mm speaker with a power of 4 W, capable of delivering up to 125 dB of volume. This is louder than the sound of a nearby fire siren (according to EU standards, it should not exceed 120 dB). In addition, the phone has a built-in FM antenna, so you don’t need to plug in headphones to listen to the radio.
Oukitel WP22 is made in a rugged housing with IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD810H certification. On the front is a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The waterdrop notch houses a 16-megapixel fixed-focus selfie camera. The phone itself, with dimensions of 174 x 84 x 19 mm, weighs almost 400 grams.
A 10,000 mAh battery, a Mediatek Helio P90 processor with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of permanent memory, which can be expanded with microSD cards (hybrid slot), got into the massive body. The device supports NFC and has a programmable key on the side. Compared to similar Chinese “protectors”, it boasts a fresh Android 13 with Google services and applications. Most competitors still come out on the twelfth version of the OS
A triple camera with a resolution of 48 + 20 + 2 MP is responsible for the photo capabilities of the smartphone. Additional lenses are an IR camera that can see in the dark, and a blank for macro photography. The device is charged through the Type-C port with a power of up to 18 W, and can work as a power bank for other devices.
