Microsoft pumped “task manager” Windows 11. There was a search and a dark theme
Microsoft continues to improve Windows 11. The company announced a fresh test build of the operating system, which has a couple of small but useful innovations. Perhaps the main change was the modified task manager
The search bar is now displayed at the top of the “dispatcher” window. There are dozens of simultaneously running processes on modern computers, so the ability to quickly find the right one, and not scroll through everything, suggested itself for a long time. You can search both by the process name and by its PID number.
There is also an option to force a light or dark theme for the “dispatcher” window. Previously, it automatically adjusted to the design of the system.
The design of internal dialog boxes has also been slightly revised. Now they are painted in the color of the system and are more in line with the design code of Windows 11. Only the “Run a new task” tab has retained the old appearance.
